The Lost World of Tambun is a theme park north of Ipoh at Sunway City, located close to the North-South Highway interchange. Built at the foothills of a limestone valley, this tourist attraction features a water park, hot spring pools, amusement rides, petting zoo, tiger exhibit and various attractions, all contained within an incredible landscape of natural rocks, hills and rainforest - elements that inspire the 'Lost World' concept. Open from 10am till 6pm, but closed on Tuesdays (except holidays), tickets cost MYR45 per adult and MYR38 per child for a day pass. Accommodation at the park is provided at Lost World Hotel, a three star budget hotel opposite the park.
